MoonXBT perpetual contracts charge the taker a 0.075% trading fee and the maker a 0.025% trading fee.
The system classifies traders as market takers or market makers. Every executed order incurs a trading fee.
- Market takers are traders who seek liquidity and take liquidity off the book immediately. The system charges these traders a taker fee.
- Market makers, who provide liquidity and increase the market depth of the order book, are charged a maker fee.
USDT Contract Formula: Trading Fee = Order Value × Trading Fee Rate
Order Value = Quantity × Executed Price
Example:
Trader A buys 1 BTC worth of contracts using a Market Order.
Trader B sells 1 BTC worth of contracts using a Limit Order.
Assuming the execution price is 20000 USDT:
The Taker Fee for Trader A = 1 × 20000 × 0.075% = 15 USDT
The Maker fee for Trader B = 1 × 20000 × 0.025% = 5 USDT
Hence, upon execution, Trader A will pay a 15 USDT Taker fee, and Trader B will pay a 5 USDT Maker fee.
