Early on Thursday morning, Bitcoin (BTC), the first and most valuable cryptocurrency, struggled to gain traction and remained around the $19,000 level. Late on October 12, Ethereum (ETH) was able to cross the $1,300 threshold but then fell back to the $1,200 region. Dogecoin (DOGE), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC), and Solana (SOL), among other widely used cryptocurrencies, all finished the day in the red. Huobi Token (HT), one of the less popular cryptocurrencies, has experienced the largest growth over the last day. It's interesting to note that on October 13, TerraClassicUSD (USTC), the currency that had been the highest gainer for the previous two days, became the worst loss.According to statistics from CoinMarketCap, the market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies as of this writing was $914.77 billion, a little decline of 0.72 percent over the previous 24 hours.
